I’m so happy you’re here! My name is Kaila and I am a Newborn Care Specialist and Certified Lactation Counselor supporting families in the San Francisco Bay Area.

As your Newborn Care Specialist, I will provide guidance and support to you and your family during the first months after bringing your new baby home. I offer full-service overnight care for newborns, parent education, as well as breastfeeding support.

  • Kaila was the best thing that happened to our family postpartum!!! We had her come the day after our baby boy was born, and she immediately eased our tired minds and hearts. We weren't the type of couple that did lots of research pre-baby, but that was OK (only) because Kaila came in and taught us EVERYTHING from bottle sterilization, to pumping and how to measure the flanges, to newborn behavior and sleep patterns, to literally how to change a diaper. She taught me how to breastfeed and pump, and was supportive through my struggles. I get emotional even just thinking about HOW crucial having her help was.

  • Kaila is simply amazing. She was with our family for the first ~15 weeks after our daughter was born (initially for 10 weeks but we loved her so much we extended). As first time parents we were nervous and a little crazed when our little one was born early at 38 weeks - from the moment she entered our home Kaila brought a calming warm energy. Not only was she incredibly sweet with our daughter, she was kind and supportive of us. We had great peace of mind knowing our little one was well cared for at night (and we got much needed rest!). Additionally in her capacity as a certified lactation counselor she gave advice and support, helping us monitor baby’s weight and advising on pumping / increasing supply when we struggled with breastfeeding. Kaila was sweet with our pups as well - she truly became a part of our family. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us through our first few months adapting as new parents.
